TDWP - South of the City

So, these dudes entered the studio with a new producer, wrote and recorded a brand new song, mixed and mastered that bitch...all within 4 days.

As someone who has some experience with these kinds of things, I can tell you that that is quite the task. To be honest, recording/mixing/mastering is the easy part. But going in dry (hehe) and coming up with something original?! That's the hard part (in that time frame). I think Josh and I did something like this once back in 2009 in our dorm room but we didn't go into a studio to record it. We came up with a basic idea and framework for a song then while Josh went to class I plugged my amp up straight to my computer and recorded a really shitty version of a song that would become "Okay, KO," one of the funnest songs we ever wrote/performed.
