The Artichokes

so, these dudes have been some of my good friends since middle school. i remember when my band was trying to get our names out there and we decided to help eachother out to widen our fanbases. we did shows together, even put together a tiny regional tour. in fact, there was a moment (like...08, early 09) when we actually shared band members (emrys and wade...vocals and drums).

another funny story...josh actually sampled them on one of the beats on my first mixtape (their song "Colorado" was sampled in "I Haven't Yet" on V1:H)

anyways, they posted this link today and i can remember them playing these songs at shows, shows in which emrys and wade had to pull double duty. good times! shit, when i get done with ...You're Welcome i may have to spend some time with the guitar for a while.
