Past Due

I know, it's been a while. I guess you deserve an update.

But before I begin, just know that I'm currently blasting some Lana del Rey at ignorant levels right now...yup.

Ok, first off, it's been a pretty nuts 2014 so far. Roller coaster to say the least. And it doesn't look like it's gonna end anytime soon. And I'm ok with that. It's teaching me a great deal of patience, along with a suitcase full of lessons. Either way, I'm making progress, reaching goals, making new ones, and staying busy.

On to more specific things that you may or may not actually care about: music.

So, I was super excited when I got my computer back in November. I was so ready to dive back into all the projects I had been away from. Gave myself some time to play around and put all of my files back where they belonged. Re-installed Logic, checked to see if all my recordings were in proper form (which they were).

Then I upgraded to Mavericks.

Ok, brief sidenote: this bitch just said her pussy tastes like Pepsi-cola. I'm no longer listening to Lana del Rey. Back to the story.

Upgraded to Mavericks...fucked Logic up.

None of my files were damaged and almost everything operates perfectly. But when the playhead goes across the screen, everything it passes goes black. I've tried everything I could think of to fix it but I've had no luck. So, now I'm gonna have to upgrade to the latest version of Logic. Also, Mavericks turn the input/output port into strictly an output. Luckily I have an external USB in/out. Needless to say, I've been hit with some setbacks. It's okay tho. Still have an arsenal of new rap in my pocket, still (re)writing and coming up with new ideas for the ANCORA project.

Also, I've been drumming a ton recently. Found out my hands still got it...just gotta get my endurance back.

Welp, that's the extremely condensed version of what is posing as some sort of update. I'll try to post more frequently, whether it's about music, new workouts I've been doing, or just random videos that make me feel tingly and whatnot.
