ok, just as a disclaimer, i am not a negative person. i try to be as realistic and logical as possible. with that being said...

as of recent, ive been losing patience with a few things, none of which involving me (huge surprise). i just feel some things that have taken place as of recent happened due to a lack of thinking and an overwhelming belief in "love"...

ok, now theres a reason for the quotations. in my short (yet long) 21 years, ive only encountered 1 thing close to love, and thats my grandparents. everything else, in my opinion, is a joke compared to that! honestly! i know i just pissed a lot of people off but hey, im just giving my real opinion. (#kanyeshrug) being overly optimistic, once again in my personal opinion, is equal to being a little stupid, childish, and delusional. yup, just pissed some more people off haha! but seriously, your brain comes first. its okay to be optimistic, but its IMPERATIVE to be REALISTIC!

a lack of realism causes, plain and simple, bullshit! bullshit that i sometimes end up having to deal with. for certain people, im ok doing that...not everybody, lets get that straight. im always gonna be in support of my family, my friends, etc... however, i cant always be in support of their actions, and they know that. they also know that a lot of their recent actions regarding "love" i cant exactly support. real talk. the reason behind that? im a realist and i feel like i have had some experiences in my life that give me a clearer vision of some things because i use my head. but, like i said before, i support the fuck out my people, all the time. however, just not some of the shit they do.

a lot of this shit boils down to people just not thinking of themselves first. nobody should be put ahead of you than you. thats just pure survival! i think a nigga named darwin said some shit like that but whatevs. you should always think for yourself, put yourself and your feelings before anything or anyone. may sound selfish...and it kinda is. being selfish helps sometimes. make your own decisions, know when youre being played, pick your own friends, do the shit you wanna do without caring about what anyone else thinks. they got a problem? they can get the dueces. it may suck at the time but its better in the long run. 

long story short, THINK! fuck "matters of the heart", that shit'll get you in more trouble than ever...believe me. anything worth feeling should be thought about...with your brain. let the brain lead and the heart follow.

with that being said, thanks for the inspiration. makes writing these new verses a little easier :)
